I’m sure you’re actually not wondering how I found myself at a tarot reading with a little old woman in a tank top dress in my buddy’s guest bedroom at my friend’s birthday party, because, well, I seem like someone who bases every choice on the shake of a magic eight ball. And that’s fair. But it is kind of an odd experience, even for me.

As we know, I am a wordsmith, but even someone as eloquent verbose as I can suffer the occasional blockage of the writing. While I am a poet, sometimes, I don’t know it.
(Crucify me for this joke later, okay? I’m just warming up!)

Well, well, well… my luteal phase is over and I’m funny again, y’all! Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I liked to embarrass myself for the entertainment of others. Whatever sickness it is that makes you crave the laughter of others, but also only need the laughter of yourself, is what I’ve come down with. cough, cough You could say I’m the illest I’ve ever been. 

Lately, the concepts of free speech and free press have been camped out in my frontal lobe like the nerds outside of Best Buy when the Nintendo Switch 2 dropped.

Here are some thoughts that wormed their way into my cranium over the course of the month. I present them to you with the intention of making you go, “oh, boy.”
